Although it has only been a little bit over a month, being a teacher has taught me many things. If I'm being honest, teacher is not a profession I would like to seek. In fact, I tried my best to steer away from it. Not because it isn't a great job or anything, it is just because I don't think I'll be good at it...
What I have learnt so far is that... 1. I'm not a good teacher. I don't know if it makes me a bad one, but I'm definitely not a good one. At least not yet. 2. I'm unorganized, that's for sure. 3. I'm careless. 4. I simply don't know how to be a teacher...
But I'm trying my best.
The thing is, I'm given a subject that is not in my field of expertise. Although I don't think I have any 'expertise' at all, but I would like to teach Academic subjects (excluding Mathematics, of course). However, I have to settle for something different. Maybe, it is easy as I'm only teaching Year 5 but If I'm not very good at it, how can I teach it to these children?
Anyway,
Hats off to those people who naturally can teach well. My respect goes to all of you.
